Production area
This IGT white wine is produced using white-berry grapes
coming from terrains recorder in the register of the DOC
vines Pigato or Vermentino Riviera Ligure di Ponente,
cultivated in Savona province.
Vinification
Grapes are picked up by hand and softly pressed. The must,
naturally decanted through the temperature control, begins
the fermentation. After a refining period into inoxidizable
steel tanks, it's ready at springtime.
Characteristics
Its colour is straw-yellow of medium intensity, it's very
clear and presents a good fluidity. Its olfactory sensations
are expressed through firm fruity marks of citron and
green apple in pleasant evidence. On the palate it reveals
wide fresh marks, supported by a moderate caloric sensation.
It expresses a final with a good aromatic persistency.
It's a dry white wine characterized by a good fresh content
and a moderated alcoholic component therefore it's suited
to be served with a traditional dishes of medium structure
such as: pasta with pesto, stuffed vegetables, saucy fish
or rabbit and chicken.
Serving temperature
The ideal serving temperature is 10° C, in medium
chalices with high stem.
It's agreeably consumed within a year after the grape
harvest.
